Vehicle Description
When was the last time you saw one of these for sale? Well this ultra rare Suburban just emerged from a two and a half year frame off, show quality, restoration! It spent the past fifty five years in the same family. It has been left in like new original condition except for a 12 volt electrical system upgrade and turn signals. Every nut and bolt has been attended to. You would swear that GM performed the restoration or you were standing next to it in a local Chevy dealership. I never use the term perfect when referring to an old car or truck. However, this is as close to a perfect restoration as we have seen. It is immaculate in every detail and drives like a dream. It has the original running gear of a Thrift-Master in-line 6 cylinder motor and 3 speed manual transmission. All of the glass, chrome, trim, metal, fabrics, rubbers, and gaskets are like brand new. The all steel rock solid body features a beautiful paint job. The wide whites look good also. It drives and handles so well you would swear it has power steering.
