Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this classic American Pro-Street Hot Rod, the Willys Coupe. Originally produced as the Willys American in 1941 & 1941, these cars enjoy a broad following in the hot rod community. This is a completely custom hot rod. The composite body is by Willy's Works. It is finished in brilliant Viper Red and rides on custom 15-inch polished aluminum wheels.
Purchased by the current owner at the 2008 Barrett Jackson, Palm Beach auction, there have been very few miles logged on the car. It has been in his collection with the other cars purchased that year. This is your chance to purchase this quality car and let it finally hit the show circuit.
This killer stance is thanks to the meaty Mickey Thompson Sportsman Radial Tires sized at 31x18.5 outback and Hoosier Pro-Street 26x7.50R15LTs up front.
Underneath this beauty is a high quality Willy's Works chassis. This square-tube high performance chassis features a custom 9-inch rear end with a 4-link suspension setup. A special fuel cell has been braced and configured in as well as an electric fuel pump. Undercarriage detail is prevalent throughout. Polished Aluminum Coil-Over shocks are fitted in the rear. The front end consists of high quality components including a disc brake conversion & performance-oriented rack & pinion steering. This underbody is in beautiful condition on this show queen
