The search is over. The 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible before you will amaze all of your senses. A true collector's car, this GT500 is ALL ORIGINAL with the exception of the tires, battery, and air filter. Only 38,945 original miles. We have all documentation. This Shelby was delivered to Chet Monez Ford in Fairfield, California in February, 1968 and stayed with the original California owner until recently. The original power top works and is in great condition. The interior matches. As an original survivor, this car shows very, very well. Original options were Power disc brakes, Power Steering, Shoulder Harness, Radio AM push button, Select-O-Matic transmission, Selectaire-Air Conditioner, tinted glass, and tilt-pop steering wheel. All adding up to a whopping $5369.77 MSRP. We have the ORIGINAL build sheet and the ORIGINAL dealer invoice from Shelby Automotive. We have also been able to obtain a copy of the Original Window Sticker. This Shelby is one of the few, if not the only one, to have factory air conditioning. We have made no attempts to hide any scratches or dings made while the original owner had it. We believe that this vehicle will be a great investment!
