Vehicle Description True 70 AAR 'Cuda with fender tags and correct T/A engine. 340 SixPack, 727 Torqueflite automatic, 355 suregrip, front and rear sway bars, T/A-AAR side exit exhaust, front and rear spoilers and fog lights. In the few short weeks they produced the AAR package and built 2724 for these, this is one of 1604 automatics. Finished in EW1 white, it originally had a black vinyl top that was not put back on during the restoration. The chrome trim for the top comes with the car, in case the next owner wishes to install a top after the purchase. It is also equipped with a new legendary interior, console, and rallye gauges. The gauges were upgraded during the restoration from the standard gauges, and was done correctly with a new harness. The original gauge cluster also goes with the car. The fender tag reflects the original equipment that has been changed. Transmission is date code correct, out of a 70 Barracuda and completely rebuilt to stock specs, with a new convertor. Engine is a correct 340 T/A block with Edelbrock performer aluminum heads (correct T/A heads available with the car), correct Edelbrock aluminum 6-pack intake, restored carbs and iron high performance exhaust manifolds. All balancing, blueprinting and shortblock assembly was done by Saum Engineering in Wichita. The only thing not correct on the engine is the serial number, as the block came from another AAR. Has the correct round plate on the K frame denoting that it was built for an AAR, and has the fast ratio steering box with auxillary power steering fluid cooler.
Everything about this car is correct in detail and function. This car can be driven any time you desire to drive it. The detail that went into the restoration to make sure it was getting the correct pieces make this one of the finest AAR's available, at a fraction of the market value. This is a fantastic, rare investment piece that can be driven or shown just the way it sits. Would possibly entertain partial trades for a late model Challenger R/T .
