This car still retains its numbers matching engine, transmission and differential.
This Corvette was purchased from the original owner in 1973 by Greg Nelson. It was sold in 1977. It was then repurchased in 1996. At that time the owner commissioned a frame off, no expense spared nut & bolt restoration. During the restoration, the original tank sticker was removed and has been saved in a folder for the new owner. Every brake line, fuel line, caliper, mount, grommet, seat cover, carpet, wheel, trim, door card, etc. was replaced, refinished, rebuilt as necessary. Original documentation of all of the restoration work is included in a binder with the car. Original photographs of the restoration is included with the sale of this car.
The restoration took 2 ½ years to complete and was done so with extensive use of factory NOS parts.
This car has been driven less than 250 miles since the restoration was completed.
We have complete and extensive documenting the ownership of the car.
