Significant milestone year for the 1978 Corvette as it was its 25 year anniversary, first year for the "fastback" design and a special Indianapolis pace car was produced. In addition, a special Silver Anniversary edition Corvette was produced of which Holt Auto Sales is currently offering one for sale. It is a low mileage unit having registered only 58,423 miles in its 33 year life. Powered by a 350 c.i. 185 h.p. Chevrolet V8 engine and is mated to a three speed automatic transmission.
