Vehicle Description
3.6 Cabriolet. 58k miles. Imported from Germany. In-line 6-cylinder with twin overhead cam shafts and 4 valves per cylinder, develops approx. 230hp. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual Getrag gear box. This Jag sports a clever roof design, incorporating twin detachable targa panels forward of a center bar and a folding double skinned canvas hood aft of it. Either or both of the interlocking Targa panels can be removed in seconds. Wind noise and buffeting are kept to a minimum by the effect of the rear quarter windows. This touring sports car boasts a full size trunk with a standard spare tire and has plenty of room for luggage. Inside the cabin is a fully carpeted luggage platform with two restraining bars to keep items in place during braking and cornering. Under the luggage platform are two locking storage bins. The car rides on new 15 inch Perrelli P4000 super touring tires. These are matched with BBS aluminum wheels. Other specs include rack and pinion power assisted steering. Suspension is handled by fully independent twin wish bones, coil springs and telescopic dampers. Anti roll bar, anti dive geometry providing longitudinal stability and heavy braking and cornering.
