Vehicle Description
In 2003, Mercury introduced the Marauder, a high-performance variant of the Grand Marquis that was supposed to appeal to buyers who liked the 1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala SS. In 1969 around 15,000.00 examples were created. A year later production was discontinued. In 2003 Mercury made the decision to introduce the name, it was made with a revised suspension both in the front and rear with monotube shock absorbers, with over 300 horse power and 320 foot pounds of torque. Originally only black was available, as customers began making request for other colors, silver, blue and red were offered. Blue was the most rare with only 328 samples made. the name persisted in 2004 with 7839 produced in 2003 and 3213 in 2004.
