The Mariner AWD is Mercury Division's version of the Ford Escape: both share nearly every part, including identical engines, drive-train, and body platform. Normally, the Mercury would be expected to have a few more appointments, and perhaps standard features, such would be the case with this "Premier" series Mariner.
