Inventories remain low with parts shortages carrying over into the 2022 model year. However, if you are willing to shop around, there are deals out there.
Unfortunately, little has changed for October as dealer inventories remain relatively low, with parts shortages potentially carrying over to the 2022 model year. As such, there are fewer car deals out there, although it is not all doom and gloom. GM is offering 0% financing for up to 72 months with cashback incentives on many 2021 models. Ford has followed suit with 1.9% financing for up to 60 months, with the Escape, Explorer, and F-150 being eligible for some cashback offers.
Moving beyond the Big Three, Hyundai and Kia are offering 0% financing for up to 60 months on many of their remaining 2021 inventory. Likewise, they have some of the best financing deals for 2022 models as well. In addition, Subaru and Honda have joined in with 0.9% and 1.9% APR, respectively, as they look to push their 2021 vehicles off the lots.
With that said, October is usually a good time for car shopping, although 2021 is not a normal year for dealerships. While pickings are slim, patience is a virtue, and if you are persistent and willing to shop around, there are some great new car incentives out there. One quick note, lease amounts and incentives may vary by region, so reach out to your local dealerships on CarsForSale.com and confirm what kind of car deal you can get!
