For sale is a 1955 Ford Thunderbird with a rare 3-Speed manual transmission / Overdrive. Out of the roughly 16K T-Birds that were built that year, only roughly 1500 came with a manual transmission. Furthermore it’s finished in a very rare baby blue exterior. It is estimated that there are only a few hundred built with these options. We purchased this car from a guy in Aptos, CA. He has owned it since the 1980s and still has the original old CA pink slip. The car comes with lots of old service records and books. In 2007 he parted it in his garage and it sat ever since. When we purchased the vehicle, we got it running and driving once again. The motor is very healthy and sounds great. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Clutch feels good. The car will require TLC all around as we did the minimum. Especially on the brakes and suspension. This is a solid CA car. No real rust anywhere. Watch the video to see the cosmetic condition.
