The car underwent a thorough body-off restoration with all new wiring, brakes, gauges, driveline, and brightwork on original sheet metal, which contains no body filler. The result is a stunning example of a 65' Chevelle that has been meticulously restored to its original glory. Under the hood, the car boasts a 496 CI stroker engine that was dyno-tested at 535 HP at the rear wheels or about 600 HP at the crankshaft. Equipped with aluminum heads and intake manifold, headers, and a stainless steel dual exhaust system. It is paired with a Muncie M21 close-ratio, 4-speed transmission, and a 12-bolt rear end with 3.31 gears and Positraction. Other upgrades include power front disc brakes and custom adjustable shocks, all rolling on a set of Unique-branded chrome five-spoke wheels mounting BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. The interior is finished in turquoise cloth and vinyl bench seats, accented with a wood-grain steering wheel, Hurst floor shifter, column-mounted Sun tachometer, and auxiliary gauges mounted under the dash. The car comes with original documentation, including the owner's manual and Protect-O-Plate, adding to its historical significance.
