The car was acquired by the seller in South Carolina in 2016, and service under current ownership has consisted of replacing the rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve covers, reverse lock-out spring, shifter assembly, and bushings.The fiberglass bodywork is finished in Ermine White (936A) and features a driver-side mirror, concealed headlights, vents on the front fenders and rear pillars, cast rocker accents, chrome bumperettes, and dual side-exit exhaust.The 15″ Ridler 675 wheels are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by Wilwood front discs and rear drums.The 327ci V8 features a polished air cleaner, PerTronix electronic ignition, “Corvette†script finned valve covers, and was factory rated at 300 horsepower. The valve covers, oil pan gasket, water pump hose fitting, and rear main seal are said to have been replaced and a rebuilt Carter carburetor was installed.
