The last of the "solid axle Corvettes" 1962 was also the year with some "firsts". Most notably the all new 327 cubic inch small block V8. 1962 also shed some chrome from the 61 model such as cove trim so for the first time a separate cove color was offered. Our 1962 Corvette here is a real triple black car! The car was an original 340 H.P. car that has been upgraded with a correct fuel injection unit that functions flawlessly. The car appears to have a no-hit body with an older respray that still looks great. This car comes with both hard top and soft top (blk). All chrome is clear and bright. As stated this is a very correct Corvette in every way. Correct wonder-bar radio, correct shifter. All gauges function as they should. This car starts right up and runs like a watch. This Corvette is better than just a driver and will enhance any collection. Real black Corvettes are extremely hard to especially in this beautiful condition. $89,995.00
