Seller's Notes

Huge off-road 4x4 prowess, serious small block power under the hood, and a terrific dark appearance means someone made all the right investments in this 1986 Jeep CJ7 Renegade. So all that's left is for you to enjoy all the benefits of this enhanced go-anywhere machine. The hood announces the Renegade model, but this is more than just a trim level...It's an attitude. The huge bull bar leading the way, trail-ready lifted suspension, tubular side steps, flared fenders, big LED light bar on the windshield, and black Fuel wheels with all-terrain tires make this instantly recognizable as an off-road rebel. Plus, there's also a beefy spare rack and a proper trailer hitch. And that multi-tone blue paint is stylish as the almost black-like body then fades to a sky blue across the Renegade's iconic strobe stripe package. You'll also note the rear and front tow hooks are accented in blue for the overall coordination. So while the overall finish reminds us the best Jeeps are the ones you can take off-road, this added degree of style helps this CJ be accepted on High Street just as much as it is in the high country. And when you have the hardtop and full doors on this one, it looks ready for a night on the town. Jeep interiors are all about function, but this one goes one step further. The newer Bestop bucket seats are all-weather durable and provide great modern bolstering. These go great with the cut-down half doors for those times when you want to be open to nature. Plus, clean liner paint metal floors with heavy duty rubber mats are perfect for both comfort and utility. You'll appreciate upgrades in comfort such as the Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input and Bluetooth, upgraded speakers with adjustable Rockford Fosgate subwoofer, and a cup holder center console with a lockable bin for your valuables. Plus, upgrades like the Grant GT sports steering wheel and full iEquus gauge package are nice reminders of something special under the hood. The original motor in the CJ7 was good, but this is the upgrade we all wish we had: 350 cubic inches of Chevy V8 power. This hardy powerplant is almost infinitely upgradeable, which is why it already benefits from performance components such as an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and tight-tuck headers. They made sure this has the correct supporting components, including MSD ignition and an aluminum radiator. It looks great with the dark Edelbrock components, and it sounds even better thanks to the throaty MagnaFlow dual exhaust. Jeeps are off-road kings, so the four-speed manual transmission is linked to a two-speed transfer case for true 4x4 ability. The lift kit gives the suspension plenty of travel when it really counts, and the Mud-Terrain tires are engineered to find traction on nearly any surface. There's even power steering and power brakes with front discs. And as you look at the undercarriage photos, you'll see cool blue components to match the exterior - everything you want in a thoughtful build. Powerful, rugged, and all-around awesome, this Jeep is the perfect classic for someone who wants to turn heads on and off road. Call now!
