From late 1982 until 1985 1/2 (until the Cadillac Alante' deal) The Pininfarina factory alone made these new more upscale Spiders. For the USA market they were called Azzurra's. Then priced at $16,900 it cost as much as a Lincoln Town Car, or a BMW 3 series sedan. In Europe they were sold as The Spider Europa.
