1969 Chevrolet C10 Short Bed Pickup The 1967–72 Chevrolet C/K is one of the most popular, reliable, and easiest to drive classic pickups you can find. This particular generation marks the turning point when Chevy realized it could offer truck buyers modern conveniences and comfort options in the same way it did sedan shoppers, a stunningly simple connection to make in retrospect, but one that blew the market wide open during a time when primary rival Ford steadfastly refusing to build anything other than the most utilitarian models for work use. For consignment, a 1969 Chevrolet C10 short bed pickup with 885 miles showing which can not be verified as the title reads exempt. A recipient of a frame off restoration that completed in 2021 with all kinds of go fast, be comfortable, and look good goodies that bring this bedded bad boy into the realm of fully custom and given the configuration, essentially one of a kind. Exterior A sharp contrast is found between the Summit White body of the truck and the Black Walnut Pearl cab which almost seems to spill onto the black tonneau cover like it's wearing a cape. The truck is low on its haunches over some nifty 20-inch US Mag wheels with low profile meats. The chrome grille tops a sleek bumper that wraps tightly to the body and is in great shape, as is the polished hardware including the side mirrors and door handles. The tailgate exclaims CHEVROLET in gray and charcoal letters while the LED tail lights provide some popping color off the back. Twin chrome exhaust tips exit the rear corners of the truck and the vintage design remains present in this custom build. Under the tonneau, beautiful honey colored wood and stainless rails look like the glossy dance floor of the finest country club. We note only one area of imperfection in paint run down by the rocker panel. Interior Black painted inserts are framed in white paint on the door, with the basic hardware attached. Inside, charcoal cloth bucket seats and center console from a 2014 Silverado look right at home and a unique 4 spoke steering wheel fronts a Dakota Digital dash and gauge cluster that benefits from new wiring in the truck, and the red backlight is sharp. In the center, an AM/FM radio and A/C panel controlling the Vintage Air system is in place. A tall Hurst shifter rises from the floor which is adorned with fresh black loop style carpet. Up top, the structural groves and rest of the ceiling are simply painted and black vinyl visors are present. Drivetrain A super clean 327ci engine awaits as we pop the hood. It's been rebuilt and bored .030 over and has an Elgin camshaft with .462i/.469e lift, 210i/215e duration @050. There's an Edelbrock intake and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor and MSD ignition lighting it up. A T5 5-speed manual transmission is onboard sending power to the 12 bolt axle with 3.73 conventional gears. To harness the power this plant puts out, four wheel power disc brakes are supplied. The engine is show worthy with powder coated inner fenders and lots of polished pulleys and other clean engine components. A pair of electric fans keep things cool. Undercarriage More shiny stuff underneath with a chromed rear differential cover and oil pan, bright red shocks, a powder coated gas tank, and good-looking wood as well. Everything is clean and lots of it is fresh from the rebuild including all new front suspension components including drop spindles, control arms, ball joints, and more. Flaming River provides the rack and pinion steering unit and single leaf suspension in back has a 4 inch drop. Coil springs are up front. The exhaust comes off coated headers into FlowMaster mufflers and then exits out back. Drive-Ability She starts with a bellowing tone from the dual pipes and off we go, rowing the long shifter through its paces and enjoying the bucket seat accommodations inside. The 327 puts out significant power and acceleration is impressive, and the truck is
