OVER 100 PICTURES AND DETAILED DESCRIPTION! This unique piece of Mopar history is an extremely clean Monaco Red Chrysler's TC by Maserati, and just one of 1636 examples sold in the 1991 model year at an original MSRP of $37,000. It was a pre-sold, ordered car, with the original buyer's name engraved on a brass plate on the console. Showing only 2,100 (HUNDRED!) miles, this may be the lowest mileage example in the world! These cars were extremely expensive to produce, (costing Chrysler $80,000 per copy in 1991 dollars!), due to being designed in Italy, having the chassis flown over to attach the body, and then flown back for final assembly. This example is in like-new condition throughout. Powered by a smooth, reliable 3.0 liter V6, and shifted by a 4 speed automatic, the car drives out very well. This is a two top car that can be enjoyed 3 different ways--open air roadster, hardtop coupe, or soft-top convertible. The painted tonneau cover has no damage or scratches, and the like-new cloth soft top stows underneath it perfectly. The interior dash, door panels, and seats are covered in rich, black Italian leather, and these seats are renowned as being some of the best designed and most comfortable of the modern era. Features include power seats, power windows, an Infinity 10 speaker stereo system with CD (a rare feature in 1991 cars), COLD A/C, and other amenities. It rides on new Michelin Defender tires with almost no miles on them. Other than tires, battery, and a new fuel filter, the car is completely stock. These cars all had poorly designed plastic odometer gears which always sheared off at some point early in their life, and this one is no exception. I have purchased new, properly designed replacement gears from Odometergears.com, which will be included with the sale. Before you go off half-cocked about how it must have 8 bazillion miles on it by now, I will be glad to share both the story of this car and the reasons for its low mileage as I was told it, plus share the myriad number of observations, photos, and evidence I've personally documented which all clearly indicate this car is an extremely low mileage example. There is nothing to hide with this car, and, as with all of my collector cars, I welcome personal inspections to verify what I've said is true. I have taken all of these factors into consideration in pricing this extremely low mileage example of Chrysler/Mopar history, so please, if you want to show your ignorance by calling it a "Lebaron" or otherwise running down the car, kindly do it somewhere else. You won't get any traction with that here.
If you're looking for something unique, rare, conversation-worthy, a GREAT VALUE, AND you'd like to enjoy a red, two top, like-new convertible for less than half the price of a new Miata, I'd love to hear from you, and will be happy to give you the inside/out on this car. Would make a perfect "weekend at the lake" ride, wife's runabout, or occasional show-n-shine vehicle. Thanks. 913-461-4890
