The rear-wheel-drive 2013 Infiniti M37 has a muscular 330-horsepower V6 engine that delivers speedy acceleration. The Infiniti M56 has a more potent 420-horsepower V8 engine. Both models come with a seven-speed automatic transmission and are available with all-wheel drive. Fuel economy for both models is among the worst in the class. According to the EPA, the base M37 gets 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, while the M56 earns 16/24 mpg city/highway.
The Infiniti M handles more like a sports car than a sedan, with excellent cornering composure and tight steering. However, its agility comes with a firm ride quality, particularly in models with the available sport-tuned suspension.
