1941 Cadillac Series 62

1941 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan Convertible finished in Burgundy paint, has been repainted to this color along the line. Paint looks great on this car front to back with an excellent luster. Chrome and brightwork on this vehicle in nice shape and looks great against the paint job. Powered by the 346 V8 under the hood that is paired up with a 3-speed manual transmission. This also has the functional thermostat-regulated airflow system behind the front grille! Dash has been left stock looking to match the rich exterior. Riding on red steel wheels with Cadillac wheel covers and wide white walls with the rear wheels adorned with removable fender skirts. Red vinyl bench seat interior with 3-speed on the column. Starter is a push button located right above the key. Fuel gauge works! Radio did power up but we have not had it working. Consignors of this vehicle have taken this vehicle on numerous touring events in Minnesota -- and the Midwest -- since owning it in the mid 2000's. Additional pieces that will come with this include: brightwork pieces, b-pillars (for when the top is raised can be added for additional support), and numerous other misc pieces that can be seen on our website. Recent service work includes: new fuel tank and sending unit, antifreeze changed, oil changed, and is on a positive ground system. Mark Liminen of Threadbarren recently replaced the top on this vehicle. Manual saddle-colored cloth convertible top with plastic rear window and matching saddle-colored parade boot. Top is in great shape and fits very well! Stock sounding Cadillac! Additional notes: battery shut off is located in the front passenger wheel well; switch pointing down means the battery is on. When opening the hood, make sure to close both front doors before doing so. When closing the hood take care not to slam it down. Before latching the hood hold the hood ornament up, then shut the hood all the way then latch the ornament back down.
