The 1990 Buick Reatta was the third and final model year for this two-door luxury sports coupe, the first car in Buick's lineup to be designed as a two-seater since the 1940 Buick model 46. Powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that produced 165 horsepower, the Reatta pairs this with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine provided decent power for the period, but it came at the cost of below-average fuel economy. The interior of the car exudes luxury, featuring a 16-way power driver’s seat, premium sound system, and a touch-screen Graphic Control Center, somewhat of a revelation for the 1990s. Although the Reatta had many high-end features, it was not a big seller for Buick due to its high price and Buick's reputation as a manufacturer of larger, more traditional luxury cars.
