The 1991 Honda Civic CRX is part of the fourth generation of the Civic series. Available as a compact two-door hatchback, it offered two trims: the base CRX and the sportier CRX Si. Powered by a 1.5L or 1.6L 4-cylinder engine, it delivered 70-108 hp, mated to either a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission. The front-wheel-drive CRX was highly praised for its handling and fuel efficiency. Its significant features included an independent double wishbone suspension for all four wheels and a two-seater configuration. It lacked modern amenities and safety features, as would be expected of a car of its age, but vouched for a raw and engaging driving experience.
