1991 Honda Prelude Overview

The 1991 Honda Prelude is part of the car's fourth generation, which spanned from 1992 to 1996. It featured a slick, highly aerodynamic exterior design that belied some serious performance chops. Powering the Prelude was a 2.0-liter inline-four engine, delivering 135 horsepower. Whereas, the high-performance Si model housed a 2.1-liter version, producing 140 horsepower. Fuel delivery was enabled by Honda’s Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) system. This model had a five-speed manual transmission as standard with an available four-speed automatic. Inside, the Prelude came with an impressive list of standard features, including air conditioning, power sunroof, cruise control, and a high-quality sound system. While the Prelude didn't house contemporary safety features like today's assistive technology, it was praised for its handling and overall performance.
