1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Overview

The 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer marked the last year of the long-lived SJ generation and became an icon of luxury 4x4 vehicles. It came standard with a robust 5.9-liter V8 engine, producing 144 horsepower, mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. The Grand Wagoneer was available only in four-wheel drive. Reflecting its high-end placement, amenities included leather upholstery, air conditioning, a premium sound system, and power-adjustable front seats. However, it lacked modern safety features as it was a product of its time. Its distinctive wood-grain siding made the Grand Wagoneer a truly recognizable piece on the road.
