The 1993 Toyota Celica represented the sixth generation of the sporty, compact car. Produced from 1993 to 1999, this model incorporated sleek, rounded styling and greater refinement than its predecessors. It was available in three body styles: a hatchback, a coupe, and a convertible. Two engines were available: a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 135 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in the GT-Four version that produced 255 horsepower. The latter was paired with an all-wheel-drive system, while other models were front-wheel drive. An infotainment system was not standard at this time, but safety features included driver and passenger airbags. Despite its age, the 1993 Celica is still admired for its handling, performance, and reliability.
