The 1994 Cadillac DeVille is part of the vehicle's seventh generation. As a luxury sedan, it came in two trims, base and Concours. Both were powered by a Northstar 4.6L V8 engine, with the standard DeVille generating 270 horsepower, while the high-performance Concours edition topped out at 295 horsepower. Both employed front-wheel drive and were partnered with smooth 4-speed automatic transmissions. Inside, the car was lauded for its spaciousness and classic Cadillac comfort. The DeVille offered key safety features for the time, including standard dual front airbags and optional antilock brakes. Notable for the 1994 model year was the addition of passenger-side airbags across all models, a first for Cadillac. While infotainment systems were not as advanced in 1994 as they are in today's vehicles, the DeVille did have an AM/FM stereo radio along with an optional CD player.
