The SC trim benefit from a supercharged 3.8-liter V6 engine that made 230 horsepower. The Thunderbird was equipped with standard features such as air conditioning, dual airbags, power windows, and power locks. The notable characteristic of the Thunderbird was its personal luxury coupe image that offered good performance and comfortable ride for its time.
