The 1996 Chevrolet Corvette is part of the iconic American sports car's fourth generation, often referred to as the C4. Power comes from a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 engine, delivering 300 horsepower to the rear wheels through either a standard 4-speed automatic or optional 6-speed manual transmission. The performance-focused Grand Sport variant features a more potent 5.7-liter LT4 V8 with 330 horsepower. All models have a beautiful dashboard with an analogue/digital hybrid system, and a standard Delco/Bose ten-speaker audio system. In 1996, Chevrolet also introduced the optional Real Time Damping Suspension system, a magnetorheological fluid-based adaptive suspension system. The 1996 model year was the last of the C4's production, making it a collector's item for Corvette enthusiasts.
