The 1996 Mitsubishi Pajero falls under the second generation of the Pajero lineup. This SUV was offered with a variety of engine options, ranging from a petrol-powered 3.0L V6 producing 177 hp, to a 2.8L turbo diesel inline-four generating 125 hp. The Pajero boasts a four-wheel-drive drivetrain with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Although technology from the mid-nineties cannot compete with modern infotainment systems, at its time, the Pajero offered a reasonably equipped interior with power windows, radio-cassette player, and air conditioning. The Pajero was highly regarded for its prowess in off-road conditions, comfortable ride quality, and reliability.
