1997 Chevrolet Lumina Overview

The 1997 Chevrolet Lumina, part of the second and final generation of this model, serves as a comfortable full-size sedan. Under the hood, you'll find one of two V6 engines: a 3.1-liter engine offering 160 horsepower or a 3.4-liter version offering 215 horsepower. Both engines are paired with an automatic 4-speed transmission and front-wheel drive. The Lumina is available in two trims, the Base and LS. For safety, it features Anti-lock braking system (ABS), a key aspect in its era. Its tech features are fairly basic reflecting its era of release and include an AM/FM radio and a cassette player. Though production has ceased, the Lumina has built a reputation for reliability and comfort.
