The 1997 Ford E-Series (also known as Econoline) is part of the fifth generation from 1992-2007. This full-size van was offered in multiple configurations, including the E-150, E-250, and E-350, and was a cherished tool by many tradespeople and cargo transporters. Engine options ranged from a basic 4.2-liter V6 (199-215 hp) to a potent 7.3L V8 Power Stroke turbo diesel (210 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque). All trims had RWD and came with a four-speed automatic transmission. Despite its age, the van was equipped with ABS and driver/passenger airbags. There was no advanced infotainment system, but options included air conditioning and a premium sound system.
