The 1999 Acura CL, part of the car's first generation, is a dynamic midsize luxury coupe. It is available in two trims: 2.3CL and 3.0CL. The 2.3CL is equipped with a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 150 horsepwer, while the more powerful 3.0CL hosts a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 200 horsepower. Both are paired with 4-speed automatic transmission, while 2.3CL also offers an optional 5-speed manual. Acura gives a nod to luxury with standard features like power-adjustable driver's seat, sunroof, and automatic climate control. Leather seating, heated mirrors and seats were also available in the 3.0CL. The 1999 CL also included safety features such as dual front and side airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and traction control.
