The 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty marks the beginning of the truck's second generation. This pickup truck is as rugged as it gets, boasting solid work abilities and a reputation for reliability. Buyers could choose between two engines: a 5.4L V8 engine delivering 235 horsepower or a 7.3L turbocharged diesel V8 that cranks out 500 lb-ft of torque and 235 horsepower. A 6-speed manual transmission comes standard, with an optional 4-speed automatic. The F-series Super Duty was available in regular, SuperCab and Crew Cab body styles, each with two or four doors, and various bed lengths. Although the 1999 model doesn't have the advanced infotainment features of newer models, it was highly appreciated during its era for its performance, comfort and durability.
