The 1999 Honda CR-V represents the final year of the first-generation CR-V, a small SUV known for its balance of comfort, practicality, and dependability. Powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine producing 146 horsepower, the CR-V came standard with a four-speed automatic transmission and Real Time AWD, a system that only sends power to the rear wheels when needed to improve fuel economy. Two trims, the base LX and upscale EX, were offered.
