The 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT is the last model of the high-performance 'Grand Touring' sports car line that Mitsubishi produced. Belonging to the second and final generation of the nameplate, it came with a 3.0-litre, V6 engine which offered 218 horsepower to the front wheels in the base model. Performance enthusiasts could opt for the VR-4 model that boasted 320 horsepower through its twin-turbocharged V6, mated to a six-speed manual transmission and delivering power to all four wheels. The 3000GT was known for its advanced technological features for the time, including electronic aerodynamics and all-wheel steering. Inside, drivers were treated to leather seats, automatic climate control, and a six-speaker sound system with an optional multi-disc CD changer.
