The 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse marks the 2nd generation of this compact sports car. Offered in both coupe or spyder convertible versions, it's available in three trims: RS, GS, and GS-T. RS and GS run on a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine outputting 140 horsepower, paired with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The GS-T, however, boasts a turbocharged version of the 2.0L engine, putting out a hefty 210 horsepower. Standard infotainment features are limited due to the year of the model but include a CD player. The Eclipse also features a front-wheel-drive setup, offering zippy handling and a sporty drive experience. Notable for this year, the GS-T variant received a standard rear spoiler.
