2000 Buick Century Overview

The 2000 Buick Century is part of the sixth and final generation of the model that began in 1997. This midsize sedan operates off a 175-horsepower 3.1-liter V6 engine. It came only with a 4-speed automatic transmission and featured a front-wheel-drive layout. Only one trim was offered, limited, but it came well-equipped with power windows and door locks, air conditioning and AM/FM radio with a CD player as standard. The Century was renowned for its comfortable and plush ride, with a tuning bias toward cruising rather than cornering. Known for its safety, it had 4-wheel ABS and dual-front airbags standard, but lacked some modern safety features. As a testament to Buick's focus on comfort, the 2000 Century's interior boasted large and inviting seats, a straightforward dashboard, and an impressive amount of room for passengers and cargo alike.
