The 2000 Dodge Stratus is a midsize sedan from its second generation. It was available in two trims; SE and ES, both lending comfortable interior and reasonable fuel efficiency. This front-wheel-drive sedan was powered by three engine options; a 2.0L 4-cylinder with 132 horsepower, a 2.4L 4-cylinder with 150 horsepower, and a 2.5L V6 with 168 horsepower. The transmission was a standard 4-speed automatic. Safety features included dual front airbags and optional ABS. Though compact disc changer and leather upholstery were optional on ES trim, the Stratus lagged behind the competition in terms of high-tech features.
