Introduced as part of the second generation, the 2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty is renowned for its towing capabilities and durable structure. Customers could choose from five trims and two drivetrains: RWD or optionally 4WD. A five-speed manual transmission was standard, while a four-speed automatic was available. Innovatively, customers could select from three engines, a 5.4L V8 delivering 235-hp, a 6.8L V10 with 275-hp, or a 7.3L turbodiesel V8 producing 235-hp. Safety measures for this model included dual front airbags and anti-lock brakes. Although lacking today's modern infotainment systems, it offered an optional audio system upgrade for remarkable sound quality.
