The 2000 Ford Ranger is a compact pickup truck, a best-seller of its time. It was available in two body styles: regular-cab and SuperCab with either 6- or 7-foot beds. Engine options include a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 119 hp, a 3.0-liter V6 delivering 150 hp, or a 4.0-liter V6 pushing 160 hp. Both manual and automatic transmissions were offered across the lineup, and both rear-wheel (RWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) configurations were available. Inside, the Ranger offered a straightforward, user-friendly interior. While it didn't have the modern infotainment features of current vehicles, higher trims did offer comfort features like air conditioning and cruise control. Safety systems, too, were simpler, with available 4-wheel anti-lock brakes and dual-front airbags.
