The 2000 Mercedes-Benz M-Class marks the second generation of the midsize luxury SUV series. Available in two trims, ML320 and ML430, the ML320 houses a 3.2-liter V6 engine producing 215 horsepower, while the more potent ML430 features a 4.3-liter V8 engine delivering 268 horsepower. Both come with a 5-speed automatic transmission and Mercedes' 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system as standard. Equipped with a comfortable and upscale cabin, the M-Class also offers an integrated COMAND infotainment system, though it doesn't feature modernly standard connectivity features like Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Safety features comprise anti-lock braking systems, brake assist, and an Electronic Stability Program. Despite this year's model's age, it served as a preview of the luxury and refinement that future iterations of the M-Class - and its rebranded successor, the GLE - would eventually uphold.
