The 2001 Honda Odyssey represented the second generation of the model, offering a spacious, practical and thoughtfully designed minivan. There were three trims available: LX, EX and EX with Honda's exclusive navigation system. All models were powered by a 3.5L SOHC V6 engine producing 210 horsepower, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels. Safety was top-notch for its time, with ABS, dual front airbags, and traction control as standard. There was room for seven with comfortable quad captain's seats for the front and middle rows and a fold-away bench seat in the rear. Perhaps the Odyssey’s most iconic feature was its innovative dual sliding side doors, offering unprecedented access to the middle and third-row seating.
