2001 Infiniti G20 Overview

The 2001 Infiniti G20 was part of the luxury automaker's entry-level lineup, offering luxury and performance in a compact sedan. Two trims were available - base and Touring. Both came with a 2.0-litre DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine that produced 145 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, mated to either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. Notable features included leather upholstery, an eight-way power driver's seat, and an optional navigation system. For entertainment, a Bose audio system with six speakers was offered. On the safety front, the G20 had dual front airbags, front side airbags, and ABS as standard. Despite the car's relatively modest power output, its suspension tuning and front-wheel drive provided a sporty and comfortable ride. However, the G20 was discontinued after 2002 as Infiniti shifted focus to more powerful and larger cars.
