The 2001 Land Rover Range Rover represents the last year of the second-generation P38A models. It comes with two trims - the 4.0 SE and the 4.6 HSE. Both are powered by a V8 engine with the 4.0 SE producing 188 horsepower and 4.6 HSE delivering 222 horsepower, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The Range Rover comes with a full-time 4WD drivetrain, making it highly capable off-road. The cabin is outfitted in luxury with leather upholstery, power seats, dual-zone climate control, and a navigation system. Despite its age, it offers adequate safety features including anti-lock brakes, traction control, dual front airbags and front side airbags. However, the 2001 model doesn't have modern infotainment like touchscreens or smartphone connectivity.
