2001 Mercedes-Benz M-Class Overview

The 2001 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is part of the first generation of the luxury SUV lineup. It offers two trims: ML320 and the more potent ML430. The ML320 comes with a 3.2L V6 engine, delivering 215 horsepower, while the ML430 boasts a 4.3L V8 with a healthy 268 horsepower. Both models feature a 5-speed automatic transmission with full-time 4WD. The M-Class became famous for supreme comfort, a plethora of standard features, and an advanced infotainment system for its time, complete with GPS navigation, voice control, and a Bose sound system. Safety features include ABS, stability control and front-impact airbags as standard, with side-impact airbags optional.
