2002 BMW M Overview

The 2002 BMW M is part of BMW's high-performance 'M' series that offers a blend of luxury and superior road dynamics. This model year features three main members: M3, M5, and the M Roadster & Coupe. The M3 is a compact sport coupe with a 333-hp, 3.2-liter inline-six engine; it comes with a six-speed manual or sequential manual gearbox (SMG), and rear-wheel-drive. The M5, the performance variant of the 5-series, has a 5.0-litre V8 engine that produces 394 horsepower, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The M Roadster & Coupe has a 3.2-liter inline-six rated at 315 hp, and it's coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. All models are well-equipped with the latest tech features; an in-dash CD player and Harman Kardon premium brand stereo system is standard. On the safety front, all M models feature traction control, stability control, and four-wheel ABS.
