The 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser represents the second installment of the model's inaugural generation. Produced by the Chrysler Division of DaimlerChrysler, the PT Cruiser is a compact, retro-styled vehicle whose design echoes an earlier era of the American automobile. It comes with a 150-horsepower, 2.4-liter inline-4 mated to either a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission, driving the front wheels. There are two trim levels available: base and Limited Edition. The latter offers fancy extras such as leather upholstery and a moonroof. In terms of safety, it has antilock brakes and a low-speed traction control system. The PT Cruiser also boasts 19 cu ft. of cargo space, which can be increased to a van-like 64 cu ft. with the rear seats removed.
