2002 Ford Windstar Overview

The 2002 Ford Windstar is the third-generation model of Ford's minivan offering. It was offered in three trims: LX, SE, and Limited. The minivan is powered by a 3.8 L V6 engine delivering 200 horsepower, and paired with an automatic four-speed transmission. It came standard with front-wheel drive. With key safety features like front-impact airbags and 4-wheel ABS as standard, the Windstar was credited as the first minivan to earn the Federal Government’s Double five-star front crash test rating. The Ford Windstar also saw a handful of interior improvements, such as a third-row bench that folded flat into the floor.
