The 2002 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is part of the first generation of Mercedes' luxury mid-size SUV lineup. The M-Class features a Permanent 4-wheel Drive with two-speed transfer case and four-wheel Electronic Traction System. Fitted with a five-speed automatic transmission, it offers three engine options: a 3.7-liter V6 churning out 215 hp, a 4.3-liter V8 generating 288 hp, and a high-performance AMG version with a 5.4-liter V8 pumping out 342 hp. Inside the cabin, the M-Class includes Mercedes' COMAND system with navigation, and optional heated seats.
