The 2002 Nissan Silvia, also known as the S15, is the final model in the iconic Silvia series. This rear-wheel-drive sports coupe was available in two trims: the Spec-S and the higher-performance Spec-R. Both trims featured a 2.0L four-cylinder turbocharged SR20DET engine, but the Spec-R offered a more powerful output with 247 horsepower compared to the Spec-S's 162 horsepower. They were both equipped with a manual 6-speed transmission, with an optional 4-speed automatic for the Spec-S. Inside, a functional yet sporty cabin space was highlighted, but the technologies were rather basic by today's standards, reflecting the car's early 2000s origins. Unfortunately for the U.S. market, the S15 was never officially imported due to Nissan's withdrawal of the Silvia from the market in 2002.
